WHĀNAU VOICE

He Kaupapa Kōrero Series 2026

In 2025 we launched He Kaupapa Kōrero, a monthly online series for iwi, Māori practitioners, and Crown agencies to engage in meaningful dialogue and shape education policy and practice together.

The series returns in April 2026 focusing on creating kaupapa-led spaces that centre Iwi perspectives, strengthen the follow-up actions and advocacy arising from these kōrero, and support Iwi and Māori organisations to actively participate in education strategies, reforms, and opportunities. The kaupapa for 2026 have been shaped by responses to our survey from whānau who attended our sessions in 2025, e mihi ana ki a koutou kua tuku whakaaro mai, e pai ai te tipu o tō tātou kaupapa.
